Even in times of darkness, His Light shines upon me
Making my path clear
My spirit calmed
My heart loved
He is my guide in this journey of mine
Even when I cannot see, I reach out my hand to Him
He wraps my hand in all His love and all His grace
As he holds my hand and hugs my heart

I thirst for the spiritual refreshment that can only come from my God
I hunger for His grace and mercy
Anxious to be fed
My heart craves to be filled with His unconditional love
The darkness in my spirit longs to be covered in His Light
The dry spaces of my soul need to be drowned in His goodness
I surrender myself to you Father
Placing all my trust in you
Please help me to appreciate even the roughest path in my journey
Help me to understand it is all part of your plan
